Massa Carrara is a province of Tuscany named after the two main towns in its territory, Massa and Carrara. Situated in the northernmost part of Tuscany, the province of Massa Carrara, is in the centre of important tourist destinations such as the Golfo dei Poeti, The Cinque Terre and Tuscany art centres. Here, sea and land merge into a spectacular contrast created by nature. At the foot of the marble mountains, the Apuan Alps, the sea washes a sandy coastline which extends for kilometres. The exceptional variety and excellent geographical position of this territory make it an ideal destination for any type of tourism.
